Fall Bus Trip - Tuesday October 12
Leaving New Market at 8.30 am, our first stop will be at the Museum of the Shenandoah Valley, Winchester, where a tour of the museum and the Glen Burnie House will be held.
We will leave the Museum about 12.15 pm when the bus will take us to downtown Winchester, where there are many restaurants. Lunch on your own then explore downtown Winchester. For those who wish to, the bus will pick us up at 2.30 pm and take us to the Stonewall Jackson House. At 3.30 pm the bus will return to the lunch drop off spot and pick up those who did not go to the Stonewall Jackson House, then collect those who did go and we will have a one hour guided tour by bus of Winchester.
We shall leave leave Winchester about 5.15 pm and return to New Market by about 6.15 pm.
The cost for members will be $25, for non members $35 which includes the admission to the Museum. Lunch and the Stonewall Jackson house tours ($4.50 for seniors, $5 for non seniors) are at your cost.
